Position Description:
Group Home Executive Director. Full time position which reports to the Board of Directors. Looking for an individual who has a passion to serve individuals with developmental disabilities in a small group home environment. Experience working with Ohio DODD rules and regulations preferred.
Job Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.
- Ensure the safety, well-being and long-term care of the residents.
- Supervise the administrative team and direct care staff.
- Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence of the organization's mission and maintain compliance with Ohio DODD rules and regulations.
- Identify, assess, and inform the Board of internal/external issues impacting the organization.
Preferences and Requirements :
- Prefer someone with prior relevant experience with Ohio DODD rules and regulations.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- At least one year of paid work experience in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities or four years of experience providing care to a family member with a developmental disability.
Travel Involved:
In town only.
Compensation:
Salaried for fulltime and Hourly if Part time.
