Ohio Rules and Regulations

Services for Ohioans with intellectual and developmental disabilities are regulated by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, the Ohio Department of Medicaid, and the Ohio Department of Health. Each rule corresponds with a section of the Ohio Administrative Code.

All rules actively going through the rule-making process are also registered with the Register of Ohio. If a rule is going through the rule-making process, the Register will include copies of the rules, copies of Public Hearing Notices, comments from the Common Sense Initiative (CSI) Office, and a Rule Summary and Fiscal Analysis (RFSA).

Each state department also has its rules under development listed on their respected website. The below links will take you directly to the rules under development pages for each agency.
