Organization Description:
Waycraft, Inc is a nonprofit organization that provides services and supports to people with developmental disabilities. We offer training and vocational rehabilitation services.
Position Description:
Seeking qualified applicants for Director of Operations.
Duties:
We're looking for an experienced leader that is prepared to lead a rapidly growing company serving individuals with a developmental disability.
Requirements:
- At least one year of paid work experience in the provision of services designed and operated to serve primarily individuals with developmental disabilities, or four years of experience providing care to a family member with a developmental disability.
- At least one year of paid work experience in:
- Supervision of employees. You must have held a position where staff reported directly to you
- Development, oversight and/or supervision of programs or services
- Financial management of an organization; this would include, but not limited to, budget development, financial reporting, contract management, grant management, account management, access to agency accounts and expenditure approvals beyond petty cash or client funds, billing for services and paying business taxes
- Holds either:
- A bachelor's degree or;
- A high school diploma and has at least four years of full-time paid work experience as a supervisor of services designed and operated to serve primarily individuals with a developmental disability
- Preferred experience in:
- Business management
- HR experience
- Financial management
- Network building
- Grant-writing experience
- Contract management
- Leadership
- Communication
- CARF experience
- Compliance/audit experience
