Position Description:

If so, our Provider Recruitment and Retention Specialist position might be for you! The Provider Recruitment and Retention Specialist is responsible for recruiting and helping retain direct service providers and independent providers for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties:
- Develops and continually grows a pool of applicants for direct service provider positions or to become independent providers for Clearwater COG counties.
- Partners with provider agencies and county boards to determine direct service staffing needs.
- Designs, implements, and executes a recruiting strategy.
- Provides a strong focus on sourcing passive and active candidates through networking, internet searches, research, and telephone calls.
- Conducts preliminary interviews with prospective candidates.
- Creates marketing materials and advertisements.
- Attends job and career fairs.
- Assists with onboarding activities to include but not be limited to orientation, conducting trainings, and assisting with certification requirements.
- Works as a team member to assure coordinated, effective relations between Clearwater COG staff, waiver providers, county board staff and various state/local agencies regarding services.
- Attends Clearwater meetings and special training/workshops as required.
Note:
40 hour per week, Overtime Exempt • Generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. • May work flexible hours as needed based on operational need • Position is home based but regular and frequent travel is required to Clearwater COG counties (Crawford, Erie, Huron, Marion, Morrow, Ottawa and Seneca).

Qualifications:
- Associate degree required.
- 2-3 years recruitment or marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in the field of developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a status of insurability for motor vehicle insurance in accordance with Clearwater policy.
- Acceptable BCI/FBI background check.
Travel:
The position is home based, but regular travel is required to assigned Clearwater COG counties.
Compensation:
Hourly, Overtime Eligible, Based on Experience
