Position Description:
Due to recent growth, RHDD, is looking to hire a part-time Registered Nurse for our Training Department. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing. Unrestricted Ohio Nursing License. Prior experience in the DD field is desirable. Prior teaching experience is a plus. Able to become certified through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities as an RN Trainer. Current valid licensure in good standing with the Ohio board of nursing to practice as a registered nurse A minimum of eighteen months full time (or equivalent part-time) experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Previous experience caring for an individual with developmental disabilities; and Successful completion of the registered nurse training program pursuant to this rule. CPR Trainer Certification is a plus. Experience with G/J tube and/or insulin administration preferred.
Duties:
- Duties would include; but not limited to:
- Teaching Medication Certification courses to RHDD Direct Support Professionals
- Assessing clients
- Occasional light travel possible to surrounding counties.
- Teaching DODD Curriculum and adhering to rules and regulations set forth.
- Occasional call for incoming questions/concerns for delegated clients
Requirements & Preferences:

Compensation:
$26.00 hourly
