Guarded Edge is excited to offer to OPRA members a comprehensive training session that walks participants through the required and necessary tasks Compliance Officers must undertake to achieve HIPAA compliance and ensure private information is effectively secured.
Topics to be covered within the session will include:
- How to build a HIPAA Team and security infrastructure
- Key HIPAA requirements, such as Risk Assessment and Policies and Procedures
- Staff responsibilities and staff training and communication
- Breach response and preparedness
A list of best practices and high-priority privacy and security tasks will also be included to help participants get started.
