OPRA Featured in Articles Highlighting the Need for PPE for DSP

OPRA President and CEO Pete Moore was recently featured in an article by Rita Price in the Columbus Dispatch on the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for direct support professionals (DSPs). The article also included input from our partners at the Ohio Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (OADSP).

The article was also picked up Disability Scoop, a popular nationwide news outlet that features news articles specific to the many issues faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that published across the country. 

Additionally, OPRA also submitted a Letter to the Editor at the Columbus Dispatch prior to the writing of the above article that highlighted the need for PPE for DSPs. You can read the Letter here.
