Description:

  • Employees serve as front-line protectors of the private information your organization relies on each day in the service of individuals. Ask yourself, do your employees know exactly what they need to know to safeguard that information?
  • As part of a risk assessment, it’s important to ask yourself whether your employees know how to guard private information, and whether they know what to do in the event of a technical malfunction or incident. For example, would your employees know what to do if computers started running slowly? Would they know to stop work immediately? And would they know whom to notify?

To learn more about what you need to know about HIPAA-compliant security risk assessment, register for this upcoming winter training series geared specifically for the I/DD sector.
